In this chapter titled "Veshadhari" (In disguise), Naganadhi comes to meet Aayanar disguised as Pulikesi. He tells Aayanar that Sivagami is on her way to Vatapi. Aayanar requests him to resuce Sivagami, but Naganadhi tells him that he has to go to Mamallapuram to resuce the rest of the sculputures. Aayanar agrees to him and Naganandhi reveals his true self.
