Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer Centenary Show

July 25th 2008 marks the birth centenary of the Carnatic music legend, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. On this occassion rasikas across the world will be celebrating the life and music of the great master. The T. N. Krishnan Foundation proudly joins them in saluting the pitamaha of Carnatic music.

We thank Vidwan Sri T. N. Krishnan, and Vidwan Sri Palai Ramachandran for sharing their wonderful experiences with their beloved guru. Their stories serve to remind us of the invaluable service that Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer has rendered to Carnatic music. Let us, on this special day -- his centennial birthday, remember and honor this great soul.
