This movie is one of the BharathiRaajaa's early work in late 70's. A beautiful storyline in a village backdrop, woven in a typical remote Tamil village environment with his skillful screen play, ane wonderful Background score by IlayaRaaja, a delight to watch. I hope you will enjoy this one.

All:
You might start to think that Nathar is paying me to say these things, but that is absolutely not the case. Each episode of the podcast is so good that I feel obligated to write and recommend.
It has been ages since I saw this movie. But the way the podcaster walks up through scene by scene, I wish I had the DVD right now.
When people tell me that they don't like Art museums, I know that the real problem is that there isn't a guided tour. A good guide can spend 5 minutes talking about a painting and make you see things that you didn't have a clue even existed. And then you become a fan of the artist.
Velikanda Nathar does exactly that to this movie, dissecting each scene, each nuance and the touches of the two Raja's (Bhaarthi and Ilaya).
If you know Tamil and enjoy films, this is one that shouldn't be missed. Listen, and do write a comment.
The good podcasters deserve all the praise we can give them -- it is called psychic income.
