Yes Sir. I have heard Dr.Ramanna's comments on metallurgy. Funny Huh?
Metallurgy is the only engg. field which is mmore ancient than any other field. All the engg.fields such as chemical, electronics, mechanical, etc., evolved in the last 2 or 3 centuries. However, the metallurgy was in use from ancient times. I don't have time, otherwise I will start. So think about it all the time, and in no time you will find a way to bring this idea into fruition.

That would no doubt be intesting but it will need a lot of research and it has to be factual and serious. We can give it a try but at my delicate young age, no promises !! Thanks for your kind words. Did u know that Dr Rajaramanna once described Metallurgy as "Metal_allergy !" !!??
Pandrinath Sir:
The episodes were fine, as far as your experiences were concerned. All the incidents were nicely described with good humor. By the way, I was also a Chemical/Metallurgical Engineer, but now am in IT field.
I have a suggestion to make. It will be great if you can start a PODCAST on the History of Materials, describing how metallurgy evolved from 4000 B.C. till today. I can give you some references. You are the right person for this PODCAST. Since you have had tremendous experience in this field and are retired, I think this will be a great PODCAST not only for Metallurgy students, but also for every one, who uses some kind of material in his/her everyday life. Your podcast will receive an unprecedented welcome. Please condider this request.
Thanks.
