Excerpt from this chapter: Drona, son of a great rishi, Bharadwaja, while studying in the ashram, was a friend of Drupada, the prince of Panchalas. Their friendship was great and Drupada had promised to help Drona when he became the king of Panchalas. Years passed, Drona married Kripa the daughter of Sage Gautama. A son, Aswatthama was born to him. Faced with extreme poverty, Drona sought help of Drupada, now the king of Panchalas. Drupada insulted Drona and sent him out of his court. It was while returning from the court of Drupada. Drona saw the Kaurava and Pandava princess-playing ball. Drona was the greatest archer of his age. Never knew so much about Mahabaratham. All my knowledge of this great epic is only through TV serials.

The most interesting podcast from you this far. I don't understand why "HelloHari" has left such a rude comment.

I am also surprised to hear the story behind the 100 kauravas from Santhanam. Sometimes I think different versions of the truth have come out over the years.

As far as I can tell, your narration so far has been very close what I have read in the past. But you have provided some additional detail as well. Good work!
