Mona has some good news in this podcast for those who have been concerned about history textbooks. Miracles do happen!
But first, the title of this podcast talks about winning hearts through knowledge. The Aryan vision was the vedic knowledge that was revealed to the Seers. Mona welcomes you into her classrooms to meet her students and hear what they have to say about India in Classrooms. India in Classrooms works hand in hand with others who share Indian culture in their own unique way...you'll find out who this week's funny guest speaker was at the end of the show. Dear Mona Vijaykar ji,
Thank you very much for doing the great work you do with the "India in classrooms" program.
I came to the podcast site after finding a link on the www.india-forum.com and was struck by the sincere and poignant interviews with the children.
We were concerned and outraged by the last minute bad-faith intrvention by Witzel and associates, in the recent 6th grade textbook issue in california. But the final outcome has been satisfactory.
I have been following the debates that raged on the internet regarding arrogant Indological researchers in USA. It is heartening that the community has been speaking up, and has had several successes so far.
Thanks & congratulations!
Ashok Kumar.
