Mr C Subrmanian, when he was the Agriculture Minister for Government of India, piloted the first green revolution in early 1960s to ensure food security to India. In the year 2000, he initiated the second green revolution and started the National Agro Foundation. Since its inception, Dr Abdul Kalam is also associated with this initiative. In an exclusive interview with Mr S S Rajsekar, son of Mr C Subramanian and presently the Managing Trustee of the Foundation talks about the initiatives.
