I loved this podcast, but I don't agree that Brahmins in general feel superior than the rest. In terms of intellect, I have come across non-Brahmins who were better than many Brahmins. I have come across some Brahmins who have felt inferior when they visit their friend's house, who is a non-Brahmin due to the fact that his friend is well to do financially.
I don't think groups form based on caste & sect, but based on the individual's personality. So when you see a group of book-worms, they may not always be Brahmins. The only common factor is that they are book-worms and their only pleasure is in reading books & nothing else. Similarly, if you see a group of slackers, you should not be surprised to see a Brahmin there.
So, the bottom line is that groups are formed based on the individual's personality and superiority complex is not based on caste or creed, but based on the individual's background or the individual's accomplishments.
